Wolf Year

FIRST THINGS FIRST..

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY MAMA. You ain’t raised no bitch, I LOVE YOU W ALL MY HEART. The Moon and Sun in me shines because of you.

O.. AND

Happy New Year everyone! – If deemed necessary use the new year to dish out the past year and make a better 2018 for urself.

My sister asked me if I had any new year resolutions and I don’t have any cause I’m constantly striving to better myself. –  I say this because a better you, a better year for urself can start at any moment. Not only on a specific day.

Let’s celebrate that we did make it to another year, our beautiful planet has made it – it’s officially 2018.
I don’t know what this year has in stored…

BUT

I do know what the stars and the night sky will look and have in stored for us TONIGHT. Supermoon is again to occur on January 1st. The Moon has made some remarkable and memorable moments this past year, as the Moon is in Gemini, tonight it will be the biggest and brightest Moon of 2018. They’re calling it the Wolf Moon – AND, Here we are starting off the new year when the full moon is at or near its closest point on the orbit around Earth, making it a fuller and brighter moon . Here on the NASA site you can check out what the moon will look like on January 1st, 2018. through hourly intervals. You can also browse around the site and see top moments of the Earths Moon from this year.

This also calls for MORE AND MORE content on my blog! please feel free to tell me what you’d like to see or hear. Reach out to talk about things you want to bring awareness to, ur interests, or ur own projects. All I’ve been writing and researching about are fighting (UFC celebrates 25 years!!!) and astronomy –  So, if y’all are tired of seeing that, share ur topics with me.. I would love to learn, research, and write about new things.

Again, Happy New Year everyone!  I wish and send nothing but love and good vibes. Be kind to others, the planet, and to yourself. xx

Every year is my f*cking year” – Conor Mcgregor

Here’s to 2018.

As The Rush Comes

Of course I had to dedicate a post to the greatest fighter of all time, Georges St.Pierre.

As you all know he has made an extraordinary come back after almost 4 years of retirement. Georges decided to take time off when he announced his retirement in 2013 as the Welterweight champion. Came back to fight Michael Bisping on November 4th, 2017 and became the new Middleweight Champion. Along with one of my other favourite fighters, Conor Mcgregor, GSP is another MMA fighter in the UFC to have hold 2 championship belts in 2 different weight classes. Unfortunately GSP withdrew his Middleweight title due to his health. Growing up I always had an interest with “fighting” as Muay Thai fights were always put on the tv in my house lol. GSP is one main reason why I became a fanatic of UFC and all combat sports. He was already “MMA’s GOAT” before UFC 217 showcased that.

Who is GSP?

Georges “Rush” St.Pierre

34 years old

From Quebec, Canada

Former UFC Middleweight Champion and Former Welterweight Champion

Professional Record of  26-2

Wins

  • 8 TKO
  • 6 Submission
  • 12 Decision

Losses

  • 1 TKO
  • 1 Submission

Georges is one of the most classiest, and respectful athletes I’ve come across. He shows aggressive passion, great sportsmanship, and respect for this sport, to and for his opponents and their team after every fight, whether it be a win or a loss. GSP finds a way to improve himself to be faster and stronger in whatever is coming next. GSP made his UFC debut at UFC 46: Supernatural in 2004, where he defeated a highly ranked fighter, Karo Parisian by unanimous decision. GSP is a fast striker, he’s efficient, and disciplined. His style incorporates Wrestling, Boxing, Kyokushin, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai. Rankings of having 3rd dan black belt in Kyokushin Karate, 1st degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. With a striking percentage of 54% and take down percentage of 74%.

I was going to tell you what fights were my favourite, but honestly, I can’t even chose, lol. Each fighter he faces, his performance just get’s better and better. BUT – If I had to choose, one of my favourite GSP fights are UFC 56: VS Sean Sherk, no doubt man, I believe that was his peak. From what I know of, it is available to watch on UFC.TV or the UFC app if you have a UFC fight pass. If you don’t want to achieve UFC fight pass you can start a free trial. You will really see his drive, and what he is capable of when watching his fights.
